Further to my earlier rant.... one of this station's talk show hosts seems to have found a new law in this country. When he hears a view that he strongly disgrees with he just hangs up the phone. Seems like he thinks there is a law prohibiting some people from disagreeing with him.
Of course everyone knows there is no such a law... but such is talk radio....

I know which radio station you're talking of and my mother listens to it. I had to tell her once that I'm not coming over anymore if that racist, mysogynyst, homophobic crap is on in the background. She is better at turning it off when I'm visiting! But hola is he every right winged-scary!
ReplyDeleteThey have lots of other hosts - Sunday morning, weekday morning, late night, and the afternoon shows who are just about as bad. THe early afternoon host is the only exception. Maybe when their licence comes up again for renewal you can join me in writing to the CRTC.
