Well see that our Prime Minister is again breaking a promise about Senate appointments...hmmm...maybe best solution is outright abolition of that so-called 'august' body.

Heard radio speculation about ambassadorial appointment for Gary Doer. Wonder what's behind that? Given history of different parties I would be a little surprised if it happens. But then Pierre Trudeau appointed Stephen Lewis to UN; and recommended Ed Schreyer ror GG. So the surprise is 'little' not big.

Hear that someone is trying to 'out' a blogger here in ottawa.. have mixed feelings...I for one.. have no problem being identified as source of all these posts...on the other hand if the blogger in question has something important to say (and is open to a job loss) then maybe the identity should remain secret.. remember "Deep Throat"
