History Show/Social Networking

Spent a very enjoyable Canada Day visiting a recreated 1866 village on the St. Lawrence River in eastern Ontario.

Best part was 1/2 or so entertainment based on travelling musical group in 1860's. Also one person played part of Sir John A MacDonald.. Canada's First Prime Minister. If you are ever in eastern Ontario the village is a good place to check out.

HOping today to get to a old friend's cottage.. although weather forecasts may be prolematic.

Have spent last week or so developing presence on twitter. What a wonderful way to stay in touch with busy people. Twitter seems not nearly as 'all encompassing' as is Facebook.... but the ability to send out information in less than 140 keystrokes fits in nicely in today's fast-paced world.
